Coaching

Individual

Coaching can be offered in a variety of situations. It is a collaboration between the Coach and client focused on present circumstances. It is intended to be a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires individuals to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving the identified goals.

Assessment of needs and receiving feedback and guidance on how to effectively communicate, positively leverage conflict, and enhance interpersonal relationships are intended outcomes.

Couples

Relationships come with their strengths, as well as their differences. Breakdown in communication, a lack of nurturing and not understanding the needs in our relationships are often factors that contribute to couples polarizing in their perspectives. Perhaps one party is looking to leave the relationship and another is not. It may be that both people in the relationship feel they have “tried everything.” These are appropriate reasons to seek a consult as a couple.

Family

Every part is connected to another in a family system. The emotions and influence that accompany this system may interrupt the ability to thrive at times. If you are finding it difficult as a family to move through adverse circumstances, we can provide support and guidance. We use our experience in family systems to assist with developing a plan that is tailored to your family.

Coparenting

Co-parenting is an arrangement where both parents share responsibility for raising their child or children in a unified manner that promotes cooperation, healing and growth. Coparent coaching provides parents an opportunity to express their interests relative to their children. It is conducted in a neutral setting with a professional who is experienced in working with children and families of divorce. The focus is on developing a parenting plan by utilizing creative solutions that meet the various needs of the family. Issues range from how the children will spend their time to day-to-day parenting decisions.

Coparent coaching provides an opportunity to improve communication between the parents as their parenting relationship moves forward. The coach can assist parents in building upon the strengths of each party. This approach allows children to feel safe and secure so they can thrive as children in their family system. Stepparents and extended family may be included in the process as needed.
